In recent years,as the exchanges between China and Thailand have increased,Chinese language has become more popular in Thailand.In 2010,1,713 public and private schools in Thailand's elementary schools,middle high schools,and Universities are opened Chinese language as one of their subjects and majors.For Thai students who do not have a Chinese learning environment,teaching materials had an important position.The teaching materials used in Thai universities are different,but now most of the teaching materials are from mainland China,some are from co-compiled between Chinese and Thai universities and some from each schools edited textbook.Whether the topics and vocabulary of the Chinese textbooks they use meet the students' learning requirements.Which topics are aimed at students' interests and can arouse students'interest in learning.What kind of topics are most needed in the elementary stage?As a Thai person,the author hopes to investigate and analyze these issues from the perspective of Thai people.This paper consists of four chapters:Chapter 1 is Introduction.The introduction part introduced the compilation of teaching materials and the current use of Chinese textbooks in Thailand and the learning Chinese situation.And introduced the theoretical basis,research significance,research scope and research methods of this paper.The second chapter introduced the Chinese teaching current situation in Thai universities and introduced the kind of teaching materials topics.The emphasis is on the analysis of the topics and vocabulary of the three primary Chinese textbooks,and statistics on the differences between the topics and vocabulary of the textbooks,whether the topics and vocabulary are suitable for Thai students primary level.The third chapter is a survey of the topic and vocabulary used by Thai university students in Chinese language learning,including the questionnaire object,questionnaire design and process,and statistical analysis of the topic and vocabulary of the survey.Summarize the students,satisfaction with the primary Chinese textbooks,what kind of topics need to add in the textbooks,whether the topics of interest can help the students to learn,what topics the students are most interested in,and what new words are required and needed by Thai university students.The fourth chapter summarizes and recommends from the investigation and analysis.This paper uses the primary Chinese textbooks of two Thai universities,and summarizes the topics and related vocabularies of the primary textbooks.It also uses students as the survey objects,and uses questionnaires to investigate the students'interest in the topics,their favorite and related national vocabulary.At the same time,students' interests,favorite topics,and vocabulary are also analyzed.From these research this article hopes can find suitable topics and vocabularies on primary Chinese textbooks for Thai universities to stimulate students' interest in learning Chinese,improve the teaching and learning efficiency of teachers and students,and help the preparation of teaching materials in the future.
