Listening, speaking, reading and writing are four basic language skills, listening is one of these skills which is more difficult to master. When teaching Chinese as a foreign language, listening teaching takes in a very important position. But in the Thai listening class, the importance of vocabulary teaching has not been valued. Students also feel the listening course boring to learn. How to do well in listening course on vocabulary teaching is always a difficulty. This paper stood on the previous research achievements of vocabulary teaching, combining the characteristics of the Chinese professional students, dealing with the good listening practice and the relationship between the vocabulary teaching, explore for Thailand elementary Chinese listening course of vocabulary teaching strategies, in order to achieve the purpose of listening teaching.Listening teaching plays a very important position in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This paper stood on the previous research achievements of vocabulary teaching, combining the characteristics of the Chinese professional students, dealing with the good listening practices and the relationship between the vocabulary teaching, in order to explore for Thailand elementary Chinese listening courses of vocabulary teaching strategies and to achieve the purpose of listening teaching. Language is an instrument for communication. In the HSK hearing test, the degree of vocabulary is the foundation of the right questions, the key to understand is often based on hearing the text which contains important information of the ability vocabulary. In this paper, the Chinese "topic type" vocabulary teaching means using different either big or small topic Chinese vocabularies to teach. And hearing the topic of class Chinese vocabulary teaching means in listening class, by looking for the students’interests, design of big or small topics in vocabulary teaching, aims to expand and improve students’vocabulary and students’ listening level of a kind of teaching methods.This paper mainly used the questionnaire survey and the method of combining the contrast, while taking into account the description and interpretation, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. With Thai elementary Chinese listening course of vocabulary teaching goal and the methods for the study of the key, according to the teaching practice, this "topic type" vocabulary teaching method experiment and demonstration, hoping to make a contribution to Thailand Chinese listening course of vocabulary teaching practice, at the same time helping offering a new idea and mode on compiling the teaching material of Thai’s Chinese listening course.
