Nowadays,with the quick development of times and social environment,increasing competing pressure,more and more people tend to have sleeping problems,they sleep late or have a poor sleep.To most people,not sleeping on time has even become routines,in which college students are main force,usually,you can see light from their mobile phones in dorm rooms.In 2001,the Global Sleep and Health Program organized by the International Mental Health Organization designated March 21,the first day of the spring,as the World Sleep Day.The significance of sleep can be seen from this.Besides,mindfulness techniques emerged from the west in 1970s has drown attention from many scholars in USA,also has obtained good results.There are some domestic researchers has studied the applications and theory foundation of mindfulness interventions.In order to find out the impact of 8 week mindfulness training on college students'sleep quality and whether it can improve the mindfulness level of college students,this study take use of group intervention,involving 16 students,randomly assigned to two small groups,one is control group,one is training group.After 8 weeks mindfulness intervention,results show that:(1)the difference in score of FFMQ before and after the test between the control group and the training group is significant(2)the difference in score of PSQI before and after the test of the training group,the difference in score of PSQI before and after the test between the control group and the training group is also significant.This suggests that 8 weeks mindfulness training can improve the mindfulness level and the sleep quality of college students.
