Objective:Childhood is not only an important period for people to learn knowledge, but also the critical time to their physical growth.Reasonable dietary nutrition is of great significance as a material guarantee for the health and growth of children. However, domestic studies on children's eating behavior have not paid enough attention to children aged 6-12years in china.Furthermore, the study of children's eating behavior lacks a standardized,highly-reliable research measurement. So this study translated and revised the Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire child-version(DEBQ-C),verify its reliability and effectiveness in use and provide a reliable and valid measurement tool for Chinese children's eating behavior.Method:To revise the Dutch Eating Behavior Questionaire child-version(DEBQ-C)developed by Van Strien et al.into Chinese version. And 375 primary school students and 453primary school students were investigated. The Chinese version of DEBQ-C was tested for Cronbach'scoefficient,split-halfreliability,constructvalidity,anddiscriminant validity.Independent sample t-test was used to analyze the gender differences in eating behavior of primary school students. And the F-test was used to analyze the grade and weight differences in eating behavior of primary school students. Results:The revised Chinese version of DEBQ-C has good reliability and validity, its whole Cronbach's coefficient 0.781,and split-half reliability is 0.68;the results of exploratory factor analysis showed that all questiones'factor load more than 0.4;the results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the three-factor skew model was ideal, and the fitting values of?~2/df,CFI,NNFI,NFI,and RMSEA were 1.958,0.938,0.943,0.922,and0.051,respectively.The basic results of domestic children's eating behavior are as follows.(1)There were significant differences in gender, grade and weight type among children;(2)The score of eating behavior of girls was significantly higher than that of boys;(3)The emotional eating behaviors of girls were significantly higher than that of boys;(4)The eating behavior scores of children in the obese group were significantly lower than those in the overweight and normal groups. Conclusion:The Chinese version of the pediatric dietary scale(DEBQ-C)has good reliability and validity. The revised Chinese version of DEBQ-C meets the requirements of psychological measurement and which could be used to promote the application.
