The Study Of Cao Baoping's Film

As an incumbent professor of Literature of Theatre Film&Television at the Beijing Film Academy,Cao Baoping also participates in the writing of a large numbers of film and television works while undertaking teaching works.He has also participated in script writing for the five works which released currently.Therefore,while his movie gained a high reputation,he also demonstrated his strong ability in writing script and his own unique artistic style.This article will thoroughly explore the works directed by Cao Baoping from five parts.In the first chapter,I will study the themes of Cao Baoping director's film works,and analyze the fate of the characters and the reflection and criticism of society.The second chapter mainly consists of combing and summarizing the character images in Cao Baoping's movie,and analyzing their character characteristics,personality characteristics and so on.The third chapter mainly interprets the narrative structure and unique narrative strategies of Cao Baoping director's works from the perspective of movie narrative.Chapter four will use the professional theory of audio-visual language to make the detailed interpretation of Cao Baoping's five films'production methods,editing features,and sound&picture combinations.Chapter five will take Cao Baoping's film as an example to discuss how domestic films can achieve the perfect combination of artistic and commercial from the commercial point of view.This thesis is based on the current cultural background,using the film approved and directed by Cao Baoping as the research material,comprehensively applying related art theories such as film and television,and borrowing from multidisciplinary theories of psychology,sociology,and communication,etc.Based on a careful observation of the film text,to make a more comprehensive and objective study.
