A Thesis Studied On American Sinologists In Terms Of Feminist Literature In Ming And Qing Dynasties

Chinese female literature has always been the focus of the American scholars.In recent years,American scholars have used the theory of social gender in the study of Chinese female literature in the Ming and Qing dynasties,has achieved remarkable results,put forward many valuable views,provides some rest for China's female literature in the Ming and Qing dynasties study.In the study of ancient female literature creation,or the study of the history of women,most of domestic scholars think China womens' history is a history of persecution or enslavement,the female image is a victims image.In the period of the May 4th Movement,this view is mentioned to be added.Today,almost all of the womens' history studies are built on the idea.By contrast,American Sinologist female literature research in the Ming and Qing dynasties,combining the social gender theory with Chinese specific history,the history of "persecution-women" point of view put forward the question,highlights the female subjective consciousness in the whole process of historical development,that relationship is a kind of interactive relationship between men and women,rather than the simple opposition to the oppression and oppressed.In the research results of the Ming and Qing womens' literature of American Sinologist,two Chinese scholars,Kang-i Sun Chang and Dorothy Ko are most representative.On the analysis of the Ming and Qing dynasties womens' literature,Kang-i Sun Chang think the relation of men and women is interactive relation,proposing three conceptions:gender mask,cross-voicing,cultural androgyny,to build up a "double" poetic realm;On the basis of Michel Foucault's theory of power,the "moral authority" of traditional Chinese women is doubted,and a reflection is put forward on "the women is virtuous".American Sinoiogist Dorothy Ko flow through the group of women teachers-best shushi meticulous analysis,deconstructing the traditional "the May 4th womens' history" and the Western theory of "difference on gender;In the analysis of the social identity of female who write poem,it is advocated to blur the"good/humble" dichotomy between the guixiu and qinglou.This paper intends to carry out a detailed analysis from the above aspects toextract valuable points of view,to promote the mutual complement of American and Chinese and prosperity of Chinese womens'literature research.
