The Application Of Folk "Four Spirit" Animal Patterns In The Artistic Creation Of Comprehensive Materials

As an integral part of Chinese folk patterns,folk "four spirits" animal patterns not only have a long history,but also have rich decorative content,which contains profound implication.Composite material painting active in Chinese contemporary art since the1980 s,artists show a great interest on the use of the composite materials,the artist to use alternative materials to artistic creation,make the picture show the special texture,so as to express the artist's subjective feelings.To overview of "four spirit",analyzing its form,meaning,as to provide theoretical basis for practical writing,and enumerate typical cases,the folk fine arts modelling methods in the application of animal motifs were analyzed,and applied to the complete series of conception and the sketch map.Finally,the application and performance of materials are analyzed in combination with practical creation,and the works of the four spirits are completed.The author with "four spirit" animal design as the core,through the combination of design change and material in the form of language folk "four spirit" animal pattern is an extension of the visual and meaning,the Chinese folk "four spirit" animals show vitality in the contemporary artistic creation.
