Parents are important learning models for children.Parental marital relationship is the first model of interpersonal communication observed by children. The quality of parental marital relationship affects the quality of child-parent relationship and has an impact on children's social interaction. In order to explore the relationship between perceived parental marital relationship,child-parent relationship and social anxiety of children, and to use sandplay therapy to psychological intervention, the following two studies were designed. In study one,418 children are measured by the Perceived Parental Marital Relationship Scale, the Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scales and the Social Anxiety Scale for Children. Results showed that:(1)Children's perceiving parental marital relationship and child-parent relationship can negatively predict children's social anxiety.(2)Parent-child relationship plays a partial mediating role between perceived parental marital relationship and children's social anxiety. In study two,two children with high levels of social anxiety were selected for individul sandplay and parent-child sandplay to explore the possibility of sandplay therapy to relieve social anxiety of children. As a result,it was found that based on the good relationship of consultation, sandplay can effectively relieve children's social anxiety with the improvement of parent-child relationship. In conclusion, children's perception of parent marital relationship and child-parent relationship are important factors affecting social anxiety of children;in the context of a good relationship of counseling, sandplay therapy can be used to relieve children's social anxiety.
