A Study On The Subject Of Contemporary Mural In China

From 1979,Chinese mural art has been on the road of prosperity and rejuvenation,especially since 2000,the pace of globalization has been accelerated,and the art information collection has become more convenient,which prompted the mural art to be more diversified in subject matter.This paper takes the works of students in colleges and universities whose subject is mural,and the group still carry out mural creation activities as the object of study(the "Cenozoic" creation is taken as a general description in this paper.)after their graduations.Their works range from practical problems to expressions of personal interest,The range of subjects has become wider and wider,and a number of good works which full of creative spirit have emerged.On the other hand,some problems exist,such as the heavy and complex professional boundaries of the subject matter,which tend to be commercialized and superficial.More expression of personal spirit and less close to the reality of China,the sense of mission and historical responsibility are weak.Based on the above background,this paper will be the new generation of murals to sort out the subject matter classification,and the thinking and analysis of development on murals theme status.
