Wang Jianmin's erhu rhapsody is a landmark work in the history of modern Erhu art.The composer combines national folk music material with modern composition techniques to create works that are both rich in national music and have a distinctive flavor of the times.They have produced strong reactions both in the field of erhu playing and in the field of national music creation.Erhu music is a kind of linear music with a single melody.In the creation of erhu music works,melody is the key point,and how melody is organized to form the structural is the most important aspect of erhu music creation and theoretical research.Based on the research and internalization of Wang Jianmin's erhu rhythm related academic research articles,the author selects two of the most typical works in this series of researches: The First Erhu Rhapsody(Op.1)and the Fourth Erhu Rhapsody(Op.4,which is known as the most difficult in technique and the most complicate in creating conception)."Op.1" and "Op.2" are based on the general analysis of the folk music material,and extracting artificial scale is designed as a gene."Op.1" is the earliest masterpiece in this series.As a classic piece in the modern erhu music,this piece is more representative.The "Op.3" and "Op.4" are based on the general analysis of the folk music material,and extracting the design core tone as a gene."Op.4" is the latest product of the composer's most complicated creation concept,the most technological means,and the condensation of a great deal of effort.And also,it is typical.Wang Jianmin mentioned in the “Reviewing and Recalling the First Erhu Rhapsody Pieces” that at the beginning of his creation,he discovered the coincidence of the Western style of Rhapsody and the traditional Chinese music structure.First of all,I study the similarities and differences between the Western Rhapsody genre and the structure of Chinese traditional music,so that it is more convenient to find the starting point of analyzing the music structure of these two works.In fact,it is from a macro perspective to analyze the changes in the structural power of music,and then,from the microscopic point of view,the design of artificial scales and core tones and their pervasive use in the entire music are studied in more depth.The elements that may influence the intrinsic logic of music,such as,the melody writing techniques,tone modulation,rhythm beat,syntax logic,etc.,are analyzed.The research methods proposed in this paper are as follows:(1)Literature researchmethod: By collecting and collating the domestic literature on the topic of interest,the auther analyzed the research status of the topic in detail,which provides the theoretical basis for the further study of this paper.(2)The case study method: A detailed analysis of Wang's two works from the macro and micro perspectives.
