The Formation Of The Theory Of Feng Zicun Bamboo Flute Art Style

Feng Zicun is the founder of the bamboo flute art in Northern China,a well-known flutist,educator and composer.The great achievements Mr.Feng made in his life is attributable to his personal experiences.Throughout his whole life,Mr Feng was a witness of the New Culture Movement,the anti-Japanese War,the War of Liberation,the founding of People's Republic of China,the Great Leap Forward,the Cultural Revolution,Reform and opening up and many other important historical events in China in the 20 th century.In face of those ups and downs,Mr Feng,the flute master,became extremely resilient and developed a unique taste for music with distinctive Chinese characteristics.He was good at drawing strength from folk music and using it to explore new performing skills and make innovations in music composition.Thanks to his perseverance and enthusiam,Mr feng brought about tremendous progress to the perfomance and music of bamboo flute,which distinguished itself from the rest of musical instruments and was recognized as a sole instrument.Mr.Feng 's work covered nearly every aspect of bamboo flute art,ranging from the structure of the flute to its performing skills and musical composition and adaptation.He devoted his whole life to this art field and made great contributions to its development.Awed by Mr Feng's achievements,the author carried out a study on his works in this paper.It mainly consisted of three parts.First of all,it introduces the experience of Feng Zicun's bamboo flute art,including his bamboo flute's learning,playing and creation.Secondly,it analyzes the formation of Feng Zicun's bamboo flute's artistic style from the main sources of the bamboo flute art style,the creation technique of the bamboo flute and the techniques of playing.In particularly,a detailed dicussion was conducted on the application of "song-and-dance duet " element to his music creation and its impact.Finally,it sums up the value and significance of Feng Zicun's bamboo flute art.
