Study On The Artistic Style Of Liu Sen’s Bamboo Flute

Liu Sen is a famous bamboo flute player and composer in China.He has created a large number of flute songs in his life.He has been teaching flute for many years and has made important contributions to the inheritance and development of flute art.His life’s creation and practice activities not only contributed to the creation of the professional flute music art genres in China,but also created a local and national music style based on the exploration of the advantages of various elements.Thus,he brought new connotations to the theme,technique,style,aesthetic and other aspects of flute art.In his works,he not only carries out the artistic expression full of diversity,but also makes pioneering explorations in the music he created and his playing techniques.Liu Sen is the originator of the "New School" flute genre and has laid a foundation for the inheritance and development of bamboo flute art in China.Based on Liu Sen’s personal experience,playing style,playing skills and representative works,this thesis explores the unique personality characteristics of Liu Sen’s bamboo flute art through the analysis of his bamboo flute music,playing skills and style,and his creative ideas.His contribution of flute education,inheritance and communication is also studied.This paper believes that in addition to his growth experience,social background,and characteristics of the times,his creating flute music,performance,aesthetics,and teaching activities in the art of flute also have a close relationship with his personalized development in flute music.This thesis mainly uses the literature reviewing method,comparative research method,interview investigation method and other research methods to explore the two levels: Liu Sen’s bamboo flute thinking of creation and music styles.Through detailed review and analysis,this thesis explores Liu Sen’s specific activities in drawing on the creative experience of senior artists,and explores his promotion of the development of Chinese bamboo flute art.This author believes that based on local materials and themes,exploring the diversity and specificity of performance techniques,embodying the flamboyant aestheticcharacteristics,and combining these aesthetics with the feelings and research of life,is an important aspect of Liu Sen’s contribution in developing bamboo flute art.His creation not only promotes the professional development of flute art,but also promotes the teaching and inheritance and development of it;Liu Sen’s creation is mainly reflected in the innovation of performance techniques and music creating techniques,and further broadens the road to the development of “localization”,“nationalization” and “diversity” of flute art.Liu Sen’s flute works are not only more infectious,but also enrich the expressive power of Chinese bamboo flute art.Liu Sen has broadened his horizons for the development of Chinese flute art and laid a solid foundation as well.
