Study On Mongolian Leather Painting Art In Inner Mongolia Region

Leather painting is a handicraft of Mongolian people in Inner Mongolia,which condenses the wisdom of the people on grassland,reflects the characteristics of nomadic culture.This paper discusses the art value of Mongolian fur painting through the study of the historical background,craftsmanship,aesthetic values and development trend of the art of leather painting in Inner Mongolia.The hand-made leather painting is divided into two types: carving and painting.Carving is the mainstream form of Mongolian leather painting,and it is also the object of this paper.The process of this leather painting is complex,with unique aesthetic characteristics,is a manifestation of nomadic civilization.By means of literature analysis and field investigation,this paper focuses on the cultural background,aesthetic characteristics,styling style and national colors of leather painting,and sums up the aesthetic value of the art of fur painting of Mongolian nationality in the present era.We hope to promote the Mongolian painting art inheritance and development.
