Study On Phoneme Acoustics Of Tianshui Dialect

Tianshui is located in the southeast of Gansu Province and it is located at the junction of Shaanxi,Gansu and Sichuan.There are many studies on Tianshui dialect at present.This paper takes the phonetic system of Tianshui dialect as the research object.Through the method of experimental phonetics and the aid of speech analysis software,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis and description of the consonant,vowel and conjoined tone of Tianshui dialect from two aspects of atlas analysis and data analysis.The analysis of the atlas mainly reflects the acoustic characteristics of the consonants and vowels of Tianshui dialect.The data analysis mainly extracts the maximum and minimum amplitude values,the amplitude average,the formant,the time length of the consonant,the fundamental frequency and so on.Finally,the following conclusions are draw.There are only 29 mono consonants in Tianshui dialect.Only[?]in consonants can be used as a vowel.The duration of pronunciations of all initials is affected by the place of the articulation.The Tianshui dialect has 11 single vowels and 21 complex vowels.[?]is usually used as a vowel alone,sometimes with[u]as a compound vowel.Most of the cases,[(?)]are used alone,sometimes combined with[i]to form a compound vowel.There are only 3 citation tones in Tianshui dialect.Ping is not divided into Yinping and Yangping and its value is 13.Voiceless and secondary voiced of Shang is still the Shang and its value is 51.The voiced of Shang and Qu are merged into a tone and the value is 44.Ru is disappeared and it is merged into Ping.This study can help us to have a comprehensive understanding of the consonant system,the vowel system and the tone system of the Tianshui dialect.At the same time,it can also provide acoustic parameters and phonetic samples for the future research of Tianshui dialect voice system.Hope to lay the foundation for further study of Tianshui dialect.
