As the curriculum reform has been constantly put forward,deep and innovative,the students' position in the classroom is getting more and more attention,and many scholars have also begun to study the students' right to speak in the teaching.The right of discourse not only shows the students' classroom participation,but also reflects the equality and fairness of the classroom teaching,and the English classroom,as the main place to learn English,is more important for students' discourse right.Chinese scholars have a relatively large number of studies on the right to discourse in the classroom.Most of them focus on the study of teachers' right to speak and the right to speak.Therefore,this paper,based on the research foundation of the predecessors,analyzes the study from the perspective of English classroom teaching in this field,hoping to help the future development of the students.This study mainly adopts the methods of classroom observation,questionnaire and interview,and the eight classes of a common class in a general high school in Tianjin.And through the classroom cases that have been obtained to analyze the status of teacher's discourse rights is higher than students and the status of students' discourse rights,and specific improvement measures are formulated for these issues.In order to have a better understanding of students' attitude to Dialogue right,a questionnaire survey was conducted among the students in this class to further verify the results of classroom observation.In order to understand teachers,attitudes towards students' right to speak,interviews were conducted for teachers' state and performance.According to the study,it is found that the students' right of discourse is relatively weak in English classroom teaching activities,including short time of discourse,unequal status,unbalance of discourse,and single expression of discourse.The reason why this kind of situation is produced is inseparable from the teachers' teaching concepts and teaching attitudes.In the teaching process,the teachers' right to speak and the student' s right to speak are actually shifting one another.Due to the special position of teachers,teachers 'Discourse power is too lofty.In addition,under the influence of long-term classroom teaching habits,students' awareness of their discourse power is relatively weak.They are unaware of the importance of discourse power and lack subjective initiative.Finally,based on the comprehensive analysis of theory and practice,according to the problems existing in the discourse rights of middle school students,this paper puts forward the rationalization suggestions and suggests that teachers should establish equal teaching ideas in the teaching process,carry out teaching activities centered on students,and inspire students.Class participation,to develop students' self-expression skills,create a relaxed atmosphere for the students,reshape the relationship between teachers and students,and interact with students with heart and soul.
