The writers who were born in the 1960s are group which cannot be ignored in the contemporary novel history.Since the 1990s,they have written a large amount of Initiation Novels, most of which are set in the Cultural Revolution, and show the traumatic growing experience of the protagonists in special historical circumstances. In these novels, instead of recreating the grand historical scene, the writers focus on the suffering of the individual and the trauma in mind, taking the personal and daily growth experience as the main line and taking the traumatic experience as the content, such as fear, anxiety and confusion. This paper takes the growth trauma as the entrance,to discuss the causes of trauma writing by writers born in the 1960s,the specific performances of the trauma in text, and the ways to show the trauma by some narrative strategies. This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is the introduction, which mainly introduces the concept of Initiation Novels, combs the development of novels since the New Culture Movement, and introduces the creation of writers born in 1960s whose growth in texts is mostly traumatic, and lastly the research status and research purpose. The second part includes the first chapter to the third chapter, which is the main body of this paper. The first chapter analyzes the creation context of the growth trauma. It is inseparable from their own upbringing that they are infatuated with narrative of growth and focus on the traumatic experience. On one hand, traumatic memories during the Cultural Revolution are an important part of their memory;on the other hand, writing on the traumatic memory is in need of Self-healing.This kind of writing is different from former generation,it in the context of the 1990s,the first is a kind of from the individualization and day-to-day work of the position to express the "Cultural Revolution" of memory, and participate in the cultural construction of trauma.Secondly, the trauma in novels shows the characteristics that cannot be healed compared with Scar literature. The second chapter analyzes the theme of growth trauma. In the creation of the writers born in 1960s,completion of the growth rarely appears, and trauma has nearly been the nature of growth. In these novels, the growth trauma epitomizes the anxiety from family anomie, the burning desire, and an empty mental state. The grower is often born in a dysfunctional family, and the impact of the political movement and the oppressive atmosphere of the family are nightmare they cannot escape for the rest of their lives.Physical development opens the door to growth, and violence is the way they come into contact with the world, which also leads to the loss of life or the loss of spirit. At the same time, the oppressive atmosphere of The Times is unable to relieve the desire, which also causes the pain that cannot be eliminated. On spiritual growth level, although many of those who grew up have "adult",but the spirit of subjectivity has not generated, and the vitality is prematurely depleted. Some people in theloss of self, others, which was sinking in the materialistic world, abandoned the ideals"collectivism" thinking under the and beliefs. The third chapter analyzes the narrative strategies of growth trauma. The first is the choice of the perspective. The first person narration perspective facilitates the inner"open" and witnesses the growth trauma of others. In the third person, the innovation of narrative perspective is also easy to show the rich inner world of the growers.Children's perspective and adult perspective often coexist in the novel, and the "poeticization" of trauma and insight and reflection constitute the "complex adjustment" of the novel. The architecture of space and time is particularly important in the bildungsroman, writers born in the 1960s use the rupture time line and enclosed space structure to indicate the difficult of growth and the unhealed trauma. The epilogue puts forward own views on the problems existing in the writers'growth novels of the sixties. The first is to be good at the traumatic experience of the grower to make a detailed demonstration,in contrast to the inner conflict of the depiction is slightly insufficient;second,it is growth on the road of life to find love, care, and ideal for the growth of the matrix."Trauma" zone is the key, while some growing "light" is obscured;individuality and complexity of growth have been ignored. This paper mainly uses comparative study and the way of close reading of the text,to analyze the Initiation novels of the writers born in the 1960s,hoping to further enrich the growth theory study of the theme and writing "trauma".
