Research On 'Seeking Father' Of The Writers Born In The 1960s

The writers born in the 1960s were especially good at placing a unique value orientation and spiritual aspirations in writing father-child relationship.The radical form of patricide become the importance symbol of this group.It is generally regarded as one of the textual strategies of "formal experiment" or one of the radical posture of against the traditional and authoritative.So the patricide has almost become synonym that the writers described the father-child relationship.However,a textual phenomenon of the beginning of 'seeking Father' in a weak and chaotic still don't attract the due concern yet after the son generation gradually got into 'without Father'confusion.In this paper,the writing of 'seeking Father' of the writers group is treated as the research target,I try to dig out the underlying causes of this phenomenon,by summing up the different writing forms of 'seeking Father' and contrasting with the text of other inter-generational writers.And exploring the spiritual demands behind the text in the writers born in the 1960s,so pointing out its uniqueness and significance were very meaningful.The paper points out the possibility that 'patricide' itself contains the 'seeking Father' because of the deep historical reason of 'patricide'.And the power of'Seeking Father' is derived from getting into 'Without Father' confusion after patricide.The forms of 'seeking Father' has been sorted from three aspects.Firstly,it was the lonely posture of 'seeking Father' from the adolescents.They were eager to have an ideal father by the way of wandering walk,crying from inner heart,following others.Secondly,the nature of father was returned by re-shaping of image.Fathers were not only put into the atmosphere of family ethics but also returned to human nature.And then,the paper try to analyze the father-daughter relationship which is among the son-father relationship separately.The getting into anxiety of 'without Father'daughters tried to seek solace from her father using affection for father due to the characteristics of women.Father seeking writing was not only showing a distinctive external representation,but also implying the polysemy of the spiritual demands because of the special inter-generational features of writers group and deep social and historical reasons of"seeking Father".This paper argues that the generation of writers thought about themselves,fathers and the entire era behind the 'seeking Father'.First of all,'seeking Father' was asking the question of 'who am I' and 'where will I go'.And'seeking Father' was one of its spiritual aspirations of self-retrospection and confirmation.Next,that excessive symbolic father gradually return to the real father in ethics family highlighted the personal care of life when the writers after 60s narrated the society from the external to the inward.Meanwhile,the spiritual wasteland context of nineties and their spirit desire resulted in resonance,the pursuit of the father symbolized their pursuit of the spiritual aspirations of the deep spiritual aspirations.
