A Research On The Theory Of Xunzi's Self-cultivation And Its Modern Value Of Moral Education

Fine traditional Chinese culture has a long history,which constitutes the continuous institutional culture of China's social development.In recent years,General secretary Xi Jinping explained the idea of governing the country and he has repeatedly stressed the importance of fine traditional Chinese culture.Xi Jinping's report at 19 th National Congress of the communist party of China explained the connotation of "four confidence" and pointed out that "Cultural confidence" is a more basic,deeper and more lasting force in the development of a nation.The report also pointed out that to practice and nurture core socialist values,making continued and greater efforts to maintain the initiative and ensure have the floor in the realm of ideology,to promote the creative evolution and development of fine traditional Chinese culture,to inherit revolutionary culture remains alive and strong,and develop an advanced socialist culture,to cherich cultural roots,draw on other cultures,and be forward-thinking,do more to foster a Chinese values,Chinese spirit,and Chinese strength to provide a source of cultural and moral guidance for people.The Chinese traditional culture is extensive and profound,This thesis mainly studies the theory of Xunzi's self-cultivation and its contemporary moral value and combined with the needs of the times,summarized and analyzed the theory of self-cultivation,in order to extracted the nutrients from its outstanding thought,and excavated its contemporary reference significance.This thesis consists of five parts:Firstly,to summarized the research status of the theory of Xunzi's self-cultivation,which is the basis of further research;Secondly,to studied the social and historical background and theoretical origin of the theory of Xunzi's self-cultivation,so as to accurately and deeply grasped and understood the essence of the theory of Xunzi's selfcultivation;Thirdly,to combed and integrated the main contents of the theory of Xunzi's self-cultivation,combed and summarized the theory of Xunzi's self-cultivation from the criterion,scope,method and goal,in order to grasped the overall style of the theory of Xunzi's self-cultivation;Fourthly,to evaluated the historical status of the theory of Xunzi's self-cultivation,in order to learned from the virtues of the theory of Xunzi's selfcultivation,and gave up the shortcomings of the theory of Xunzi's self-cultivation;Finally,to expounded and discussed the contemporary moral value of the theory of Xunzi's self-cultivation.In order to enhanced the historical and cultural details of contemporary moral education and enrich the methods of moral education.
