Looking back into the experience,the past experience contributed to “my” growth,“I” am the cause of “my” world,and “I” am the result of “my” world.Secondly,“my” life was given by parents,and “I” need a family to position “my” existence,to seek the root of family.Secondly,seek the region where “my” family is in.Danner expressed in the Philosophy of Art that artistic creation cannot do without the impact of ethnic group and environment,and the regional culture would impact the reproduction of family profoundly.Finally,to reflect on “my” homeward journey,and find “my” whereabouts,the affiliation of spiritual value,or return to hometown,reflect on the local changes,or towards religion,and seek the path of spiritual belief.Just like the fact that there would not be accurate and true answers to philosophical problems,and root-seeking literary writers have never stopped seeking.Root-seeking literature not only seeks the root of culture and nation,the root of ethnic group,the root of family,village or individuals,but also implies Chinese ancestral worship of family line,priority to family,and blood succession.Regarding the current root-seeking literary form,it is mainly divided into four types,including the individual history of seeking the root of individuals,which mainly depicts the family history through individual growth;seeking the root of family,describing the changes of family in the long history and reflect the national history;seeking the local changes in villages of families,and deducing the history of the country;history of belief exploring into the root of individual soul,root of spirit,and root of religion.The root of root-seeking literature transforms from the local culture at the beginning to the root of humanization,individualization and concreteness of family,and writers will transfer the creative angle of view from the extensive nation and history to the present and reality.Chinese contemporary literature is developing now,so is the root-seeking literature.From the slogan called out by several writers at the beginning to the conscientious practice of writers,the abundance of root-seeking literary text types and maturity of creation techniques have symbolized that the the process from movement to a normal phenomenon of literature history of root-seeking literature reflects another return of literature to realism and historical narration,which is a benign direction,as well as the only path and adherence of literature back to the the Garden of Eden.
