A Philological Study On Dunhuang Manuscripts Of Lotus Sutra

Lotus sutra is a classical literature in Mahayana Buddhism.The number of Dun huang Lotus sutra is about 5300.In this paper,eight volumes of Dun huang lotus sutra as the center,mainly from the following four aspects to study:Firstly,we will analysis the seven volumes,eight volumes and volumes of Dun huang Lotus sutra,we will find the difference of three versions and find the location in the "Taishopitaka".Secondly,we will do the research of these manuscripts which are unnamed and introduce the basic information of manuscripts.Thirdly,we will show you the detail information about eight volumes of Dun huang Lotus sutra,we will briefly introduce the volume number,deposit,start-stop,by far,the text content corresponding to the location of the Taishopitaka.Therefore,we can get more information for further study.Fourthly,we will analysis the text content,the appearance of Dun huang manuscripts,27 pieces of manuscripts will be put into 13 groups.We show the pictures of each group to confirm the conclusion.At the end of this article is the directory of Dun huang "lotus sutra"rejoin,the number of Dunhuang Lotus sutra manuscripts which can be combined is 1333.However,we find 991 of them.
