Study On The Structure Of Northern Wei Dynasty Pingcheng

The Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties were the golden age of national integration.After the Northern Wei Dynasty moved its capital to Pingcheng,it issued a series of policies;it implemented Chinese-speaking Xianbei people,advocated etiquette and music,built traffic roads,advocated trade exchanges,reduced labor and encouraged cultivation.And these policies made Pingcheng,a remote place since the Han and Wei Dynasties,became the capital of Northern Wei Dynasty.The momentary Pingcheng city was given an unprecedented glorious and splendid prosperity,and the period of the presidency of Emperor Xiaowen was the most prosperous.The construction of Pingcheng is also of great research value.This article is divided into five chapters.It discusses the layout of Pingcheng during the Northern Wei Dynasty.The author combines domestic and foreign(mainly Japan)research books on Pingcheng,using bibliographic records;including all social and historical materials of ancient and modern times,as well as archaeological excavation reports,combining themes with each other to discourse the topics.The introduction mainly elaborates on the studying of the layout of Pingcheng in the Northern Wei Dynasty,and summarizes the research previously made by the former researchers of Pingcheng city.The first part is the second and third chapters of this article.First of all,the author sort out the ancient literature records of Pingcheng of Northern Wei Dynasty and try to build a historical framework with the idea of “knowing of the future”.elaborate historical facts with the largest coverage,and do the best to recovery research by the relative positions of lost cities.Secondly,in view of the current archaeological excavations in Pingcheng of the Northern Wei Dynasty and related academic research in Pingcheng,diagnosis the basic conditions of the entire city planning,layout,and development process duringthe Pingcheng period of the Northern Wei Dynasty,and make a general restoration of all urban construction at that time.The second part is the fourth and fifth chapters of this article.Through the research of the above chapters,combined with the planning and construction of Lucheng City and Luoyang City in the same period,the research and comparison with Pingcheng City clearly show the commonalities and differences between the city sites,their development,and a deeper understanding of Pingcheng City's layout and construction.The layout of the Pingcheng location and the concept of construction that the author believes are restored.
