The Ancient City From The Perspective Of Urban Communication-the Presentation,Dissemination,Fragmentation And Redevelopment Of Confucian Culture In The City

"City is the carrier of civilization","Chinese city is the carrier of Chinese civilization".Starting from the starting point of the study of urban communication,this paper starts with the view of "city as a medium" in the theory of urban communication and traces back to the history of the development and construction of ancient Chinese cities,exploring the Chinese ancient cities and Chinese traditional culture,especially the relationship with the Confucian culture,and trying to make clear the city.The relationship between city,culture and communication.From the stone period to the pre Qin period,the media attribute of ancient Chinese cities as the carrier of ancient Chinese civilization was demonstrated by comparing the germination and emergence of ancient Chinese cities with the emergence and ideology of ancient cities,and the relationship between culture and city."Etiquette" and "ancestor worship" etiquette and custom appear in spatial information;ritual culture has become the three principles of urban spatial design.Based on the interpretation of Confucian culture in ancient cities,we initially understand the basic form of the ancient city as a medium.It is not only the embodiment of the Confucian ruling ideology in the overall urban layout,but also the spread and diffusion of the urban form to the wider field,including the China and other overseas regions outside the Central Plains.On the basis of the nature and form of the ancient city's media,the function of the ancient city as a medium has been further developed along with the prosperity of the Confucian culture.First,the emergence and development of Neo Confucianism expanded the spatial structure of the city,and its new urban space has further promoted the heritage of culture and the sharing of meaning,thus forming a simple communication society to a certain extent,thus promoting the further development and spread of the new Confucianism.With the collapse of the feudal dynasty,the position of its ruling ideology in space has become precarious.First,the strength of the military force destroyed the ancient city as a major medium of the Confucian culture spread,and then with the invasion of capitalist exploitation,a large number of buildings containing economic power began toappear,and a confrontation with the urban architecture representing the Confucian ideology.During the long exploration and development,the market led urban road led to the rupture of Confucian urban civilization in space.Finally,this article takes the city of Ming Taiyuan County,Taiyuan as an example,to take a preliminary view that the existing ancient city and its maintenance and revival project have a new media value,that is,the transformation of city and culture service to the city and culture.
