Discussion On The Expression And Significance Of The Animals Image In Oil Painting

With the development of the society and the progress of the times,the increasingly severe ecological crisis and the quickening pace of life have made the interpersonal connections quietly changes,along with the relationship between people and nature.In the context of such social environment,the creation of animal subject is gradually concerned by art creators who mainly express their thoughts on many problems through the depiction of animal images.Proceeding from the works of Shi Jianping,Zhu Cunwei,Zeng fanzhi,Liu Xiaodong,this paper makes an analysis of the animal images in the painting which reflect many social problems as well as the painter's mental enlightenment and emotional expression,which enables the researcher to elaborate the social context of contemporary animal theme creation and further makes comparisons of animal images and symbolic significance in Chinese and western painting.Besides,the researcher lists the relevant background of famous artists so as to make the point more supportive.Finally,taking the researcher's graduation creation "Eternity" series as an example,this paper discusses the significance of animal images in painting and introduces the special social significance and aesthetic value of the creation of animal image subject in the development of contemporary society.Now depiction of animal image has not only confined to its natural form,it is the carrier of the artist's thoughts through which artists shows the social contradictions embodied in today's society development by the critical and ironic technique so as to trigger the viewer's emotional resonance,calling for people to concern about the environment and natural life.
