Study On Chinese Calligraphy In The Western Tibetan Of China

With the continuous efforts of Tangut scholars at home and abroad and strong support from national policies,Tangutology has gradually become a prominent discipline in domestic and foreign academia and made significant achievement in history,geography,economy,culture,literature,religion and art.However,Tangutology is relatively weak in field of calligraphy,especially in Chinese calligraphy of Tangut,there was little achievement.From the Wei Jin to the Tang and Song dynasty,the art of Chinese calligraphy has reached a very high level.With the influence of the art of calligraphy in the Tang and Song dynasty,the art of Tangut calligraphy also get a considerable development and reached a fairly high level.Due to the differences in ethnic culture and the fact that other dynasties didn't specifically compile history for them,there was no famous Chinese calligrapher of Tangut in history.Considering the Chinese calligraphy of Tangut still occupies an important position in the Tangut history and even the art history of ethnic minorities,the research of it is still valuable.Duo to different kinds of reasons,the Chinese calligraphy of Tangut distributed in several countries and its data is dispersed and piecemeal,the author focuses on Chinese calligraphy of Tangut which were Chinese collections to research.Due to no scholar has done in-depth research on Chinese calligraphy of Tangut which were Chinese collections,its research value are still considerable.The Chinese calligraphy of Tangut carries the accumulation of culture and permeates the characteristic and brand of times in the inheritance of culture.Calligraphy that has a great history in China is an extensive and profound art culture.We can explore the development of Chinese calligraphy of Tangut in the process of exploring the historical development and inheritance with the massive dates that were discovered in archaeology.At the same time,the blank of research on the Chinese calligraphy of Tangut in the field of calligraphy research makes its research more valuable and meaningful.
