A Study Of The Vocabulary Of Tongcheng Dialect

It is a long history for studying Chinese dialects.However,the current studies in the field of dialects generally believe that the characteristics of Chinese dialects are mainly manifested in speech and grammar,so most of the researches are concentrated on the pronunciation and grammar of dialects.In contrast,the study of Chinese dialect vocabulary is obviously inadequate,making the study of dialect vocabulary in a subordinate position.The systematic and comprehensive study of local dialects is still rare.Therefore,this paper will start from the vocabulary of dialects,and do a comprehensive research and analysis of the vocabulary of Tongcheng dialect,so as to achieve the goal of attracting the brick and attracting jade.It has seven parts in all:The introduction is the firth,this part of Tongcheng's geographical and historical organization system are introduced briefly,and then analyses the research status quo,research object and background,research objectives and methods,the research significance as well as the phonological system of Tongcheng dialect.The difference of Tongcheng dialect and Putonghua.This part compares the Tongcheng dialect from Mandarin with the difference of word meaning,affix difference,word building motivation difference and etymological difference.The third chapter is the study of the kinship appellation in Tongcheng dialect.This part mainly studies and analyzes the kinship appellations in Tongcheng dialect and the characteristics of the appellations in Tongcheng dialect.The relative appellation words in Tongcheng dialect mainly include the mainstream relative appellation words and the special appellation variants.At the same time,It is the generalization phenomenon and the phenomenon.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the characteristics of the word meaning of Tongcheng dialect.This part mainly analyzes the vocabulary of Tongcheng dialect from the characteristics of lexical meaning and grammatical meaning.The lexical meaning includes the extension of the semantic,shrinking and meaning transfer,and differences in grammatical meaning includes the combination of ability and the difference of words.The fifth chapter is the taxonomy of the Tongcheng dialect.This chapter sets up the classified vocabulary of Tongcheng dialect from the following aspects : astronomy,geography,season time,animals,plants,agriculture,appliances,houses,appellations,kinship,body parts and others.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of this paper and the prospect of the later research.
