Study On The Expression Of "Facial Expression" In Chinese Contemporary Oil Painting Characters

Chinese contemporary art has went through the introspection in early open and reform age,namely the “Trauma art” and “85 New Tide”.In 1990 s,the “New age”were adopting innovative expression form of painting language to satisfy the contemporary art market.Their main art thought is the focus on social reality and personal living condition,which reflected the impact on art composition from Chinese social politics,economical and cultural reform.Since then,the key words for Chinese contemporary art converted from political to commercial.“Pattern profiling” is an expression phenomenon in Chinese contemporary painting.It reflects that Chinese contemporary art is facing a structure of diverse value orientation.Besides,it is an aesthetic process going from visual reality to psychological reality.In the mean time,it is also a strategical expression to gain identification under fast food cultural situation.“Pattern profiling” has a long history in Chinese cultural.It exists in Chinese traditional painting,opera face profiling and the propaganda painting during the period of the Cultural Revolution.It is a dance with chains,which exhibits a typical art expression.In contemporary art,“Pattern profiling” is not only a visualized symbolization,but an abstraction in numerous phenomena.At the same time,because of the difference of Contemporary and Traditional art,the two-way expansion of human's self recognization is the process of self reflection and self recognization through the understanding of the outside world and culture.Just as Cassirer said,recognize yourself.The transcendental truth within the process(visual and psychological)is facing challenge with the knowledge base expanding.The authenticity of expression can a.so be recognized as effective transmission of present survival experience.Thus,the author operates the research through the “pattern profiling” language in Chinese Contemporary art composition,and conducts omni-directional interpretation of expression,art value and epoch significance of the symbolized language in Contemporary Painting.
