An Analysis Of Artistic Usage Of Language In Bi Feiyu's Tui Na

Tuina is a representative work of Bi Feiyu in his transformation period of writing.As the literary work that has won the eighth Mao Dun Prize for literature,Tui na,no matter in the selection of subject matter,the meaning of theme,or artistic expressiveness,reflects impressive depth breadth.The researches on monographs about Tuina mainly from the content,text connotations,characters,and other key literary perspectives,while interpretations and analyses from the perspective of language ontology are rare.Based on the relevant theories of linguistics,this paper collects fully corpus,discusses from the perspective of linguistics,and studies the language usage of the novel texts.On the whole,the thesis is composed of three parts.The introduction part is to summarize the research status quo of the novel and put forward the significance and innovation of the research.The first chapter is about the application art of figure of speech,mainly through type and pragmatic effect to analyze the figure of speech in the text and the integrated use of figure of speech.Simile can be divided into two types: single postures and double postures.Single postures include subject-predicate structure and its variants ontology plus "like(or omitted)metaphorical objects" plus similarity(or omitted).Metaphor is classified into affirmative metaphors and negative metaphors.The pragmatic effect is mainly embodied in the beauty of image,trends and elasticity.The parallelism is divided into two types: the external form and the internal relation.The external forms include words,phrases and parallelism sentences.Internal relations include horizontal parallelism and vertical parallelism.The pragmatic effect mainly reflects the characteristics of regularity and intertextuality.The types of analogy are personification and zoosemy,and the pragmatic effect mainly reflects the characteristics of the figurative and dynamic.The integrated use of figure of speech includes the collocation of figure of speech and applies mechanically of figure of speech.The comprehensive application of figure of speech can strengthen the expressive force and the language art of the text.The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the art of lexical meaning from the choice of meaning,the choice of speech and the selection of special words.In the novel,the outstanding performance of the meaning of choice is achieved through the additional significance of vocabulary,which is analyzed from the emotional color and colloquial style.Emotional coloring includes humorous using of formal words and exchange using of commendatory and derogatory items;stylistic coloring is represented by combination of spoken language and written language and borrowing of political terms.Choice of word sound contains three aspects: coordination of same rhyme,repetition of identical character or sound,and employment of onomatopoetic words.The repetition of identical character or sound is shown by verbs and dialect words.Choice of special words covers applying of loan words and dialect words,which adds interest and humor.Concerning arts of variation using,Chapter Three researches textual language through analyzing words variation and sentence variation.The arts of words variation are analyzed form two perspectives: word form variation and word collocation variation.The former mainly increases the dismantling of function words to idioms and common compound words,which constitutes subject-predicate phrases,making sentences more expressive.The latter mainly analyzes the collocations of subject-predicate,verb-object,and attribute variation in the text.The sentence variation analyzes the frequently appeared short sentences in the text from the dimensions of syntactic position and syntactic type.To some extent,the thesis provides a new angle for the study of the author's work.At the same time,the study plays a certain role in promoting the literary research of the author.However,because it is only the research and analysis of the author's representative work in his transformation period,the research has the singularity.In addition,due to the weak ability and the theoretical basis,the writer still need to go in-depth in screening and analysis of the corpus and lack the integrity research on writers and their works,the author will continue to improve in the future study.
