A Study On The Prefaces And Postscripts Of Love And Marriage Opera In The Ming Dynasty

Opera preface and postscript is an important literature researching opera history and opera theory,which contains the theoretical aesthetics of opera,the evaluation of opera,the function of opera.Ming Dynasty is the peak period of the development of Chinese opera.At this point,the drama preface and postscript also came into being.Prefaces and postscripts of operatic drama in the Ming Dynasty are substantial and rich in content.The theories of opera involved in the drama can not be ignored.Under the precondition of "Ten Sagittarian nine acacia" in the Ming Dynasty,the love drama in the marriage category developed rapidly,which made the prefaces and postscripts of the Ming Dynasty love and marriage drama also peaked.This paper takes Cai Yi's "Preface and Postscript Compilation of Chinese Classical Operas" and Wu Yuhua's "Prefaces and Postscripts of Ancient Chinese Opera" as sources and integrates the prefaces and postscripts of the Ming and Qing Dynasties' love and drama in this series to conduct a systematic and comprehensive study.This article mainly has four chapters.The first chapter elaborates the prefaces and postscripts of the Ming Dynasty love and marriage drama respectively,explains the prefaces and postscripts and the prefaces and postscripts of the opera respectively.The second chapter begins with the preface and postscript of love and marriage drama in the Ming Dynasty,and classifies the sources of the drama material from the three aspects of the previous generation novels,the current events legend and the previous generation operas respectively.The third chapter summarizes the drama theory contained in the prefaces and postscripts of Ming Dynasty love and marriage drama.The fourth chapter divides the prefaces and postscripts of the Ming Dynasty love and marriage drama from the author of the prefaces and postscripts.For the different evaluations of the prefaces and other prefaces,the view of the opera advocated by the dramatists or prefaces and dramatists was presented.
