Arrangement And Research On The Preface And Postscript Of The Collection Of Poems And Essays In Shanghai In The Middle And Late Qing Dynasty

In the Qing Dynasty,the economy and culture of Jiangnan area were in the leading position in the whole country.The prosperity of economy brought about great progress in culture.Shanghai belongs to the south of the Yangtze River,so it has become a source of scholars.Whether it is the prosperous aristocratic family that inherits poetry and ritual articles,or the communication and singing of the literati in cloth clothes,a large number of poetry works are left.The prefaces and postscripts of these poems and essays can often show the literati’s poetic style,family tradition,family tradition,literary values,social association and so on,which plays an important role in complementing the study of Shanghai’s poetry collection and improving the study of literati groups and family regions.The title of this paper is "collation and Research on the prefaces and postscripts of Shanghai area in the middle and late Qing Dynasty".It is based on the collection of literati ’poems and essays in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.Through the collation of the prefaces and postscripts of these collections of poems and essays,we can further explore the literary values reflected in the prefaces and postscripts of the poetry collections,family culture,literati Association,publication and so on.In addition to the preface and postscript,there are five parts in the preface and postscript.The introduction is divided into three aspects.Firstly,the regional scope of Shanghai area is defined in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.Secondly,it combs the research status and research results of prefaces and postscripts of Shanghai regional poetry and prose collections in the middle and late Qing Dynasty from two aspects:the overall study of the literary history of Shanghai area in the middle and late Qing Dynasty and the related research results of preface and postscript.The first chapter of this paper discusses the literati group,which is divided into official group and cloth group.In ancient China,not all Chinese literati could enter the political system through the imperial examination.The author divides the literati group from the perspective of literati’s social identity,which can more comprehensively investigate the literati’s creative background.The second chapter is mainly about the family groups,especially the cultural families.The regional literature of the family reflected in the preface and postscript is of great research value.The prosperity of the imperial examination in Shanghai in the middle and late Qing Dynasty provided a good condition for the formation of the cultural family.Most of the cultural families in Shanghai in the Qing Dynasty were prosperous.They passed on the family with poetry and etiquette,and attached great importance to the development of family studies and family style In addition,the preface and postscript’s evaluation can not be ignored.This chapter lists yuan’s family and Gu’s family in order to reflect the spirit of the cultural family reflected in the preface and postscript.The third chapter of the thesis mainly investigates the ideological connotation of the literati reflected in the prefaces and postscripts.Most of the literary writers in Shanghai in Qing Dynasty emphasize that poetry should be based on temperament and the voice of the heart;emphasize the unity of righteousness,textual research and rhetoric;pay attention to the interpretation of the lyric function of poetry;and in the writing of the prefaces and postscripts,the literati show their three characteristics of attaching importance to morality,speech and meritorious service "Immortality" values.The fourth chapter of the thesis mainly involves the association in the preface and postscript.There are many literary schools in Shanghai in Qing Dynasty,and the communication among literati is quite frequent.Therefore,the literati sing and make friends with each other,and form Poetry Association constantly.From the communication of literati,we can deeply understand their poetic view,spiritual value and aesthetic orientation at that time.In the fifth chapter,through sorting out and analyzing the publication of the prefaces and postscripts,we can get more information about the spread and retention of the prefaces and postscripts of poetry in the middle and late Qing Dynasty,as well as the literati’s pursuit of immortality in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.At present,the research on prefaces and postscripts is not very sufficient.This paper is based on the literature,hoping to make a little contribution to the field of prefaces and postscripts.
