The Influence And Application Of The Format Change Of The Republic Of China On Contemporary Book Design

In the book layout design of modern China,the book design in the Republic of China has an important position.It is the transition stage from traditional Chinese book design to modern book design,presenting a diversified modern book form.The layout of this period has a special national,open and epochal nature,which has a profound influence on the design of our contemporary books.By looking up all kinds of books about the period of the Republic of China,collecting relevant pictures,selecting representative representative books layout design of Republic of China,we analyzed and studied the characteristics of book layout in the Republic of China.Based on the causes and background analysis of book design in the Republic of China,influence the development stage of the design of books during this period are summarized as: inheritance,China traditional books in the beginning of construction to the May 4th Movement,on the eve of the 54 period to 77 incident,the Anti Japanese War to the new China establishment,the Republic of China time social life changes,a total of six Western influence gradually background factors.Based on the analysis of the causes and background of book design in the period of the Republic of China,the characteristics of Chinese style,western style and combination of Chinese and Western books were formed in the layout and form of books in the period of the Republic of China.And the art character,pattern,color in the book cover design application,more prominent the visual characteristics of the book cover of the Republic of China.By analyzing the characteristics of book layout in the period of Republic of China,we get the influence on the contemporary book design: first,the embodiment of nationality and times;the two is the diversification of layout;three,the application of empty and real blank,and the four is the display of Chinese traditional beauty.Summarizing the design features of the book layout in the Republic of China,it is enlightening for our contemporary book design,and according to the development characteristics of the contemporary era,we should extract its essence and show our excellent traditional culture in our book design.
