Study On The Sentence Pauses On Speech Synthesis Of Mongolian

In acoustics,the request of quality of speech synthesis are decided into three aspects:clearness,intelligicity and naturalness.Whether synthesized sound can be clearly listened is related to clearness;whether continuous sounds can be understood is related to intelligicity;whether sentences can be listened fluently without machine sound is related to naturalness.The clearness and intelligicity of the speech synthesis are associated with phonetic level;while the naturalness is mainly connected with the prosodic features such as pause,stress,intonation,rhythm and pause.Improving the naturalness of current speech synthesis system is becoming an urgent problem now.This paper is based on the 1000 sentences of standard Mongolian to devide the pause of sentences into three levels.Comprehensively considered the study approaches of phonetic study on other languages and the awailable results of phonetic research of Mongolian,it aimes to investigate the pause features of each level upon the aspects of phonetic,morphology and dependence grammar.the test results show that the accuracy of the third degree of train data is the highest.Accuracy is 88%,recall is 76%,F-value is 82%.This paper consists of an introduction,the main parts and conclusion.In the part of the introduction main aspect,including the research status of the pauses in Mongolian,research method,significances,content and the corpus is introduced.In the first chapter,reason of pauses appear,the acoustic feature in each degree of pauses from the aspect of length and pitch is discussed.The second chapter,the POS and the affix appears before the pauses in each degree,the relationship between each degree of pauses and morphology is summarized.In the third chapter,the relationship between each degree of pauses and dependence grammar from the aspect of inner-arc relationship and inner-arc span is discussed.In the last section,the experimental results obtained in the first three chapters are summarized.
