A Study Of The Adjectives Of Dialect In Yao'an County

Yao'an dialect is one of the southwestern dialects.On the whole,it belongs to the northern dialects,but has its unique features.The previous studies of the Yunnan dialect have achieved a lot,but little studies focus on Yao'an dialect.Taking the adjectives in Yao'an dialect as research objects,this paper mainly study them from the lexical,syntactic and semantic perspectives,so as to analyze the dialectical characteristics and the cultural characteristics and dialectical features of the adjectives in Yao'an dialectical adjectives.The thesis includes three parts: introduction,the theory and conclusion.The introduction part is mainly a summary of and introduction to the Yao'an and Yao'an dialect,gives a literature review of the adjectives in modern Chinese and modern Chinese dialect based on the previous studies,and explains the significance of the topic,research objects,contents,methods,data sources and style.The theory part is the main body of this thesis,and this part is divided into four chapters.The first chapter probes into the adjective in Yao'an dialect from the perspective of structure type,mainly discussing the characteristics of three-syllable ABB pattern adjectives,four-syllable adjectives,and the basic structure types of the adjectives in Yao'an dialect.The second chapter is to discuss the adjectives in Yao'an dialect from word-formation perspective.Based on the motivations of words formation,the adjectives in Yao'an dialect are generated directly and indirectly.Different coinage can exhibit different characteristics of the adjectives in Yao'an dialect.The third chapter discusses the adjectives in Yao'an dialect from the perspective of grammar.It mainly starts from the grammatical category and describes the adjectives in Yao'an dialect categories and syntactic function.The adjectives in Yao'an dialect are divided into the quality adjectives in Yao'an dialect and the state adjectives in Yao'an dialect.Different results can be made according to differentcategory.The research on the syntactic function the adjectives in Yao'an dialect develops from the function as components of sentences and the function of composition.The fourth chapter researches on the adjectives in Yao'an dialect from the semantic perspective,mainly analyzes the orientations of adjectives in Yao'an dialect as adverbial,attributive and complement,and summarizes the semantic features of the adjectives in Yao'an dialect.The conclusion part gives a summary and introduction of this thesis,explains the deficiencies in the study,and points out the future efforts.
