The Analects of Confucius is the first quoting and dialogue work in China,the verbal dialogue between Confucius and his disciples is recorded,it contains rich pedagogy and pragmatics.However,there is no formal definition of educational pragmatics in academic circles,and a few articles or works devoted to the study of Analects from the angle of educational pragmatics.In view of the above,This paper attempts to study the educational pragmatics in Analects of Confucius,That is,in the language communication between teachers and students in the Analects of Confucius,The principles followed by the speech subject in the use of language in order to accomplish the communicative purpose of teaching or learning effectively and its practical significance,The purpose of this paper is to pay attention to the close relationship between educational pragmatics and modern teaching in the Analects of Confucius,The types of Educational pragmatic principles including the Analects of Confucius,a comparison with Western pragmatic views,pragmatic misunderstandings and discourse Strategies in Contemporary Education,how to guide modern teaching practice,In order to provide reference for modern teachers' teaching,Enhance the positive pragmatic effect in the language of instruction,Promote the smooth running of teaching.And broaden the field of pragmatic research for the Analects of Confucius and enrich the domestic pragmatic theory.Through analysis,we find the pragmatic principles used in Analects are consistent with Western Cooperative principles and Politeness principles.However,due to cultural differences,discourse role orientation and other factors also exist some contradictory parts.From the dialogue between teachers and students in Analects of Confucius and the western pragmatic principles,this paper summarizes the types of Confucius' educational pragmatic principles.Mainly includes "praise,criticism and the combination of the two principles","heuristic principles contrary to relational norms","the principle of inspiration by time","the principle of the use of language by others".And through the analysis of pedagogy and educational psychology,we can reflect on the three kinds of representative discourse misunderstandings,namely,comparative discourse,critical discourse and hegemonic discourse,which often appear in contemporary educational discourse.And put forward the following requirements to the modern teacher discourse: First,use the "example" education method to replace the contrastive discourse,Choose a respectable,high-status,competent and attractive role model to guide students instead of directly contrasting words with a view to shame.Second,use politeness rather than criticism.Politeness is the norm of mutual respect and friendly speech act that both sides of speech show in communication.In the process of teaching politeness sometimes plays a far greater role than critical discourse.Third,respect students and reject hegemonic discourse,Have friendly and equal communication with the students.
