Study On The Life Consciousness Of The Resurrection Stories In Supernatural Stories During The Wei,Jin,South And North Dynasties

Resurrection is the direct description and reflection of "life" and "death",which contains rich life consciousness.The Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties are the periods of prosperity for the stories of the resurrection.The stories of resurrection in the supernatural novels during these Dynasties,to a certain extent,display the life and death concepts and values prevailing in their society.This article takes the life consciousness of the resurrection stories in the Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties as the research object and is composed of three chapters.The first chapter is an overview of the supernatural novel related to resurrection stories in the Wei and Jin Dynasties.First of all,the resurrection stories before the Wei and Jin Dynasties are classified historically into the Ancient Myth and the Qin and Han Dynasties.Then,all the resurrection stories involved in the supernatural novels during the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties are statistically illustrated.Meanwhile,they are also sorted according to the cause of death and the reasons for their resurrection.Finally,the three characteristics of the resurrection of the Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties are classified into there parts: the purpose of testifying Shen Dao is not framed,the secularization of the content of the resuscitation.The second chapter mainly elaborates the life consciousness in the resurrection stories in the Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties.It interprets through three aspects,from the consciousness of death,existence and the intrinsic spirit of life.For the first one,it includes the understanding of death,the concept of destiny and the imagination of the post-mortem world.As to the consciousness of existence,it contains the awareness of survival,the desire to break the limit of life cycle and the pursuit of life quality.The last one,the intrinsic spirit of the life of the resurrection stories is love.On the whole,though it is irrational to prolong life through death and resurrection,the awareness of life in the Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties is generally positive.And the positive description of death in the story shows authors' affirmation and acknowledgment for the objectivity and inevitability of death.The stories of the resurrection in supernatural novels has created a series of protagonists who fight in order to obtain the resurrection and showed their resistance to life.The awakening of the self-awareness of life and the full affirmation and compliment of "love" are also positive aspects.The third chapter starts from the summary of the connotation of life consciousness in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties from the previous chapter,and analyzes the source of life consciousness in the resuscitation novels during the same era.The first root is the reality.The turmoil reality during that time has caused a strong sense of life.And the Wei and Jin Dynasties have endowed the resurrection stories with thorough sense of "love".Followed by the source of ideas,the primitive soul and god belief are the basis of consciousness of life for resurrection stories.The idea of being immortal and Taoism immortals are the expression of the life pursuit of the resurrection stories.The introduction of the concept of hell in Buddhism enriches the concept of underworld in the Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties and the imagination for it.
