The Study Of "Xi Murong Phenomenon" In 1980s

Xi Murong is one of the most popular female poets in Chinese poetry in 1980 s.She writes about romantic love,nostalgia,life and joys and sorrows.From the poems "Qili Xiang" "Regardless Youth" to the essays "A Golden Saddle""Human Pyrotechnics ",and from the verse “Not a flower can be found to send in the ferry " to "Nostalgia is a tree without growth rings",her works spread from Taiwan to mainland China and even to the whole Ethnic Chinese cultural circle.She writes great poems without intention.Her works refreshed the sales records of contemporary poetry with a series of amazing numbers and created the unique "Xi Murong phenomenon" in contemporary poetry.This paper takes "Xi Murong phenomenon" in Taiwan in 1980 s as the research object.The study observes a series of production and consumption links which includes the creation,publishing,society feedback and audience reading of Xi’s poetry from three aspects,namely literature production,literature communication and literature acceptance and tries to reveal the complex factors,mechanism and the mystery of literary phenomenon in the process of production.1.Literature production.Literature production is a materialized production of literary texts by a writer who uses a certain material carrier to turn literary texts in the form of mental imagery in the form of mental imagery.This paper mainly studies the interaction between Xi Murong’s literature production in 1980 s and its related social historical and cultural context;and also takes Xi Murong’s best-selling "Qili Xiang" "Regardless Youth" as a case,analyzing the focus of Xi Murong;s subject matters in a specific historical period and her identity,position and value orientation when she intervenes literature production,2.Literature communication.Literature communication is synchronized with the origin of literature and ancient literature phenomenon.It is not only the power but also existing and expanding forms of literature.In 1980 s,the contemporary media began to intervene people’s daily life.Therefore,to theoretically and practically study the process of Xi Murong’s sensational effect,it is an essential dimension to consider of the role of cultural publishing and mass media.3.Literature acceptance.There are three types of receivers: the general readers,the critics and the writers.This essay mainly from the perspective of general readers’ reading feedback and critics comments studies the cultural sensationalism caused by production and analysis the generate of public aesthetic system carried by "Xi Murong phenomenon" by observing Xi’s works response to historical and cultural context.
