Vocabulary teaching is an important part of the second language teaching.Text provides a carrier for words to enter communication.Using text specific context can help learners accurately understand the meaning of new words,grasp the rules of using words,and improve learners’ correctness and appropriateness in language use in real communication activities.Therefore,the effect of the combination of the meaning and usage of the new word with the context in the text deserves our attention.This paper selects the semi-intermediate I level "Boya Chinese" as the research object.From the four levels of the lexical meaning,the syntax function,collocation and the pragmatic meaning of the new word,the text in the textbook is analyzed and studied by the way of scoring.From the perspective of context,we examine the effect of text in helping learners learn new words.According to the evaluation results and suggestions,hope for the day after the compilation of textbooks to provide some reference.The text is analyzed by combining the effect of context.It is considered that the context of the text in this textbook is better designed than the other aspects of the syntax function of the new words.They also do better in matching objects,but the high frequency collocation can also be increased.As for the meaning of new words,due to the fact that many new words appear in the same sentence,the difficulty of sentence comprehension and the difficulty of new word meaning inference increase,from the position of context,there are few clues in the double context,which is mainly the clue of the former context and the post context..In the pragmatic meaning of new words,there are not many pragmatic phenomena involved in the text,but the design of context is more accurate and reasonable. |
