The Research On The Evolution Of Common Words In People's Daily From 1946 To 2014

The most common words in Chinese are the most sensitive parts of the development and evolution of the lexical system.The development of social concepts was first reflected in the changes of commonly used words.It is the most important place to pay attention to in the process of the development and evolution of the vocabulary history,and the evolution of the common words has great research value.This paper has collected 1946 to 2014 language materials of the People's Daily for 69 years,and made a detailed segmentation processing by using computer segmentation software.According to the different time periods and frequency order,the former 6,000 "People's Daily" common word vocabulary was formulated respectively.Based on data statistics,combined with the diachronic and synchronic state of vocabulary,the evolution of the common words in the newspaper language of the people's daily is systematically investigated and analyzed in terms of the length of words,word frequency,the color of words and words,the advance and retreat of common words,the reversion of common words and the words of reverse order,and the analysis of the common words in the newspaper language.The reason and the internal law of change.From 1946 to 2014 "People's Daily" commonly used words showed a steady growth of multi-syllables over the word length;the coverage of the first 6,000 words gradually decreased;and the vocabulary system's richness continued to increase;the time color changes of the words are remarkable;the "progressive" and "retreat" of the common words are abnormally active.The internal evolution mechanism and socio-political factors of vocabulary are important reasons for the evolution of common words in the People's Daily.
