Middle Ages Commonly Tied Two-syllable Word Into A Word And Evolution Of Research

Common words is the most important research content on the history of Chinese language, but it was only the replacement of the monosyllable that has aroused concern among the academic circles, and the origin and evolution of disyllabic words has not been put enough emphasis on. This dissertation makes a preliminary study on the origin and evolution of common coordinate disyllabic words.The dissertation has six chapters.Chapter I : After fixing the object of study, the paper elaborates the research situation of common words and disyllabic words, and raises the essential methods of research on the origin and evolution of common disyllabic words.Chapter II : It is proved by lots of concrete examples that study on the origin and evolution of common coordinate disyllabic words is very valuable to refer to distinguishing document, editing dictionary and applying theory.Chapter III: After discussing the criterion of dividing phrase and disyllabic words, and deliberating the forming factors and developing mechanisms of the coordinate disyllabic words, lays stress on tracing the origin of them.Chapter IV and V: On the basis of all kinds of the synonyms of the coordinate disyllabic words, the author selects several typical groups 6f them to make microscopic observation, and find out some frequently occurred phenomena with respect to the semantic or functional change of the coordinate disyllabic words.Chapter VI: Based on these, the paper sums up some pattern of the origin and evolution of common coordinate disyllabic words.
