This article focuses on the current status of the acquisition of Chinese phonetic rhetoric and its inherent regularity.Taking foreign students in College of Chinese Language and Culture,Jinan University as an example,this paper tries to make questionnaires to examine the acquisition of three kinds of Chinese phonetic rhetoric: syllable coordination,er and soft final,and rhyme.The survey results are as followed:(1)From the perspective of correct rate,the correct rate of each phonetic rhetoric is syllable cooperation> er and soft final> rhyme;the correct rate of each subject is based subject>expanded subject> hyper level subject;the correct rate of each level of students is primary students> senior students> intermediate students,and there is still a considerable gap between senior students and domestic undergraduate students.(2)From the perspective of ethnic Chinese and non-ethnic Chinese,as for primary and intermediate students,there is no significant difference in phonetic rhetoric acquisition between Chinese and non-Chinese students.But there is a significant difference between senior Chinese and non-Chinese students—non-Chinese students are better than Chinese students.(3)From the perspective of level of Chinese,there are significant differences between primary and intermediate students,intermediate and senior students,and senior students and domestic undergraduate students.(4)Judging from the wrong options,the ability of foreign students to select the best vocabulary or phrase based on context and genre information needs to be improved,and the language flu ability needs to be improved.Finally,based on the analysis of the survey results,the author puts forward specific suggestions from three aspects: syllable cooperation,er and soft final and rhyme.
