| Based on the narrative rules and presentation modes in the daily fragment painting from the microscopic perspective,this paper draws on the sources of daily reality portrayals and the development of narrative paintings in China to present the micro point of view which can be seen in the daily fragment paintings and the phenomenon of micro-narration.After that,I try to find the daily life,the personalization,the fragmentation,the micro-fragmentation and the fragmentation in this type of narrative painting,to discusses the montage of life reflected by the artist’s way of presenting in his or her artistic creation,and finally to discuss and sort the meaning of the times and the grand-narration.The dissertation is divided into four parts.The first part analyzes the daily and fragmented aspects of daily fragmentary painting from the microscopic point of view.By combining the definition of daily fragmentary paintings,the concept of micro-naration is explained.It also shows the clue of the narrative painting development in the 30 years of Chinese contemporary art: After the reform and opening up,China made a great policy adjustment which made the macroscopical consciousness and the collective ideology subsided.On the contrary,people began to pay more attention to the individual.The works with a great sense of social mission in the past were replaced by the paintings with "small themes" and "little narratives".Materials from daily life are endowed with new value.Then the background of micro-narration which generated from this perspective is shown:Nowadays,people’s individual consciousness is getting stronger and stronger in a diverse society;The second part is the key statement of this article.It focus on the analyses of the narrative rule of daily fragment painting,in another word,the speciality of micro-narration in the ways of expression and the micro-narration objects.All of those highlight the role of individual consciousness in daily fragment painting.In this part,the characteristics of this kind of painting are analyed.The special techniques to paint,the non-state of the "small to large" presentation mode,the incompleteness and discontinuity of fragmented images.The third part mainly focuses on the individual awakening in the daily fragment style painting,and fulfills the embodiment of thenarrative in the daily fragment style by the personal micro perspective,and analyzes the daily routine,the individuality and the individuality "Fragment" expression respectively cites or examples of artists and works to elaborate: That is,this individual awakening is reflected in the daily fragmentation of the painting is different from the simple reproduction of everyday life but by depicting the object Produce spontaneous narrative,and then explain creation.This fragmented presentation mode becomes the narrative way for them to montage their daily life.The fourth part mainly focuses on the narrative ways in the daily fragment paintings and analyze the significance of the times on the premise of the return of the narrative paintings.First,the narration in the paintings is briefly described in the development of Western art history.The painting.In the postmodern context,the "grand narrative" is no longer the mainstream,but is replaced by the "micro narrative",The integration of art and life and the strong personal experience and emotions brought into the art creation explains the impact it has on the narrative transformation of the Chinese contemporary art painting.The narrative nature of painting has always been there.The narrative exists in all the characteristics of the times determines that the narrative painting can not be ended.It is only from the grand narration to the micro narration,and the art is close to life to reproduce the everyday expression of individual emotions.What this article analyzes is a kind of art group in Chinese contemporary art.They observe the fragmentation of daily life in a more
