Chinese Characters Graphical Design Based On Font Properties

Chinese characters are a good carrier of the records of human thought and civilization.They are the profound and profound connotation of the traditional Chinese culture.The development of Chinese characters has undergone a transformation from pictorial representation to abstraction,from complexness to conciseness,making it the most rigorous,The most complete system of pictographic ideograms.Because Chinese characters are writing symbologies that record and spread the language,it has the basic symbolic characteristics.The graphic design of Chinese characters means that the Chinese characters become more connotative and contagious using reasonable design techniques based on the three elements of the text,so as to enhance the visual experience of the viewer.The formal characterization,image representation,logicality and systematization of Chinese characters are all the preconditions and foundations of Chinese graphic design.In the modern society with diversified design,Chinese graphic design has seen a lot of outstanding cases both at home and abroad.How designers can accurately grasp the information,artistic conception and emotional extension of Chinese characters has become the key to decide whether the design is complete or not point.In this paper,the literature research method,comparative method and practice analysis method are used to analyze and discuss the formal characteristics of Chinese characters and the visual representation of the images.Combined with the symbolic representation of Chinese characters and the spatial representation of Chinese characters,the paper gives theoretical guidance to the design practice.In this design practice,I learned the design form by drawing on the traditional writing style and the traditional Chinese pattern.At the same time,I case study on the fusion of Chinese character design.From the appearance,structure,stroke,image,Etc.,summed up the rules and design methods of graphic design of Chinese characters.The main body of this graduation project selected a number of classic poems,the elements used to extract the ancient as today,Chinese and Western,while using displacement,association,deconstruction,stroke reduction and other design methods to create three different styles of fonts.While exploring the richness and possibility of the theory and technique of Chinese graphic design,this design aims at digging the cultural mood behind the Chinese characters in a deep-rooted way.It is hoped that the artistic conception,Beauty and structure are expressed in the graphic design of Chinese characters.Chinese characters in various periods of evolution is the process of Chinese design,all of the design methods in the final analysis should be to restore the graphical design of Chinese characters to "meaning" up,the design of the text in response to the text itself semantics to convey their own aesthetic And grasp,love affair,graphic infiltration,resulting in a unique meaning and content.Chinese outstanding Chinese culture needs to be continuously improved and innovated,so that native culture can be organically integrated with world-wide elements in order to have more vitality.
