Research On The Theory And Practice Of Graphical Chinese Characters

As China's international status continues to increase and international exchanges become more frequent,cities in China have opened their doors to welcome visitors from all directions.Landmarks of various cities and cities quickly appeared in the public's field of vision as a symbol,which conveyed its cultural connotation through visual language and displayed the image of local personality.Chinese characters have undergone thousands of years of development and are the source of creativity in logo design.The graphic representation of Chinese characters is reconstructed through two elements: text and graphics,conveying a form of beauty and showing the unique charm of oriental culture.Looking at it from a new perspective,the graphic characterization of Chinese characters is an inevitable trend in the development of visual communication design.The impact of this art form on China's future visual communication design field is incalculable.This article starts from the origin of Chinese characters,studies the structure of Chinese characters and the visual representation of Chinese characters,analyzes typical cases of landmark design of Chinese characters in traditional culture and modern design,and summarizes theapplication methods of landmark design of Chinese characters.And applied to the design of some scenic spots in Shanxi Province.Finally,through literature review and field visits,learn about the regional and cultural features of Taiyuan Shuangta Temple in Shanxi Province,Wutai Mountain in Shanxi Province,and Pingyao Ancient City in Shanxi Province.This article studies to try to create a fresh and beautiful business card by creative design,which can maximize its cultural heritage,and also provide innovative design methods for landmark logo design.
