Analysis The "Design" In Chinese Character Graphics Design

In the long history of Chinese characters development,it has become a symbol of culture.The Chinese characters were originally developed from the graphic symbols;therefore,Chinese characters can also be seen as a visual graphic language.The diverse forms of Chinese characters enrich the design elements,and the application of Chinese character graphics in visual communication has become a necessity.This paper studied on the "degree" in graphical character of Chinese characters in visual communication.On the basis of the relationship between Chinese characters and graphics,according to the concept of design and visual communication effect,starting with the design of Chinese characters,this paper analyzed the “degree” from the following four aspects: the information content and directional scale in Chinese character graphics,the scale of "form" in Chinese character graphics,the scale of image in Chinese characters,and Chinese character graphic material and three-dimensional space scale.The concept of “degree” in Chinese character graphics was then refined,and accurately grasps the scale of design in the structure,color,layout and other aspects to make clear the significance of "degree" in Chinese character graphic.In the process of research,through the graphical design analysis of Chinese classic case,with analysis of Chinese and foreign successful design works with Chinese characters as design elements.Finally,the article further refined the degree from the signs,the posters,the bookbinding,the packaging designs and the web designs through the Chinese character graphics in the practical application to reflect the difference of Chinese character graphic design in different application fields and form a better design metrics.At the same time of heuristic design ideas and standardized designs,the design art can be developed faster and better.
