Decorative Value Of Coded Symbols

With the progress of science and technology,people's life gradually entered the digital age,are used in many ways to bar-code symbol.When it comes to "bar code"when this symbol,float everyone's mind now is package match the black and white squares,people did not find practicality behind the beauty in it,just as it is a machine-readable symbol.This paper is about the aesthetic significance of coded symbols represented by bar codes,because the use of coded symbols is more than everything,people have to accept the symbol,but on the basis of the traditional aesthetic graphic schema,the coding symbol implantation on the schema aesthetic will have great damage,Therefore,the coded symbol should be transformed into a decorative symbol with aesthetic value,which can harmonize with the whole picture.From the earliest binary symbol "gossip"to today's aerial photos and high-rise buildings,in the choreography and appearance are linked to the bar code,you can see that the whole world has been with these coded symbols have inseparable links.Therefore,this paper not only studies the decorative value of coded symbols,from the analysis of the use of abstract symbols,this paper explores the contemporary decorative paintings with barcode as the basic symbol element,bases on the viewpoint of art from life,follows the creation idea of"because of vision",and interprets the present situation of city life by using the symbol of bar code,and practice in my graduation creative decorative painting.The first chapter of my thesis is the introduction,which explains my research topic.This paper introduces the definition of bar code and its research meaning as abstract symbol,and summarizes the research on abstract symbol at home and abroad.The second chapter begins with the artistic source of abstract symbols,probes into the history of abstract symbols,and analyzes the application of abstract symbols in the works of modern masters.The third chapter explains its importance from the extensive application and the artistic value of the coding symbol.The fourth chapter is the focus of the paper,through the study of coded symbols and abstract symbols to illustrate my work.To the contemporary decorative painting symbol use,the symbol composition,the color collocation aspect carries on the study,then carries on own creation.Finally,I explain the inspiration source,creative thinking and process of my graduation creation.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and the prospect.Here,I hope that through the extensive exploration of the aesthetic value of abstract symbols,the application of historical and contemporary abstract aesthetic symbols and literature research,combined with the practice of their own graduation creations,in order to have the spirit of pioneering and innovative and keen academic insight,the coding symbols into the category of visual aesthetic symbols for the first time,So that more people can feel the aesthetic value of coded symbols,and today's urban life and coding symbols inseparable relationship.
