The ceramic culture of China is also ancient and young,it is ancient due to the emergence which can be traced back to the primitive society,and it's young because it remained to the present with the change of history,the progress of times,and the innovation of technology,still as the indispensable artwork or practical object in people's daily life.In the dozens of ceramic research for the last years,people always payed more attention to the recovery and reconstruction of imperial kilns,and ignored folk kilns in contrast.However,the method without folk kilns resulted in losing the soul of ceramic research.The folk ceramic of Hubei province,is an important constituent part of Chinese traditional ceramic culture.Especially from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the period of Reform and Opening-up,as the fame spread,the products of Hubei kilns were once sold to foreign countries.In this period,there were mainly three large-scale kilns which produced ceramics,the Caijiashan kiln of Macheng,the Guanjia kiln of Qichuan,and the Makou kiln of Hanchuan.After the 1970 s,along with the progress of Reform and Opening-up,as well as the rapid development of science and technology,great changes have taken place in the life structure and economic state of Chinese people.New post-industrial materials such as plastic,metal have taken the place of ceramic products and came out in people's life,resulted in a large amount of folk ceramic products becoming unsalable,the kilns closing down one after another,artists losing their crafts,splendid ceramics industry coming up to an end.Therefore,it count for much to protect and inherit this part of the precious tangible cultural heritage,they were separately recording and carrying the history changes of the regional culture in Hubei province.This article proceed from the theoretical perspective of artistic anthropology,focused on the modeling features of Hanchuan Macou kilns productions,as the research case of Hubei folk ceramics research,with the foothold of people,made intensive researches on the origin,development venation,nationality,folklore and aesthetic value of Makou kiln.It bought the thought of aesthetics and philosophy in art design research,which can on one hand broaden the vision and field of art design theory system,on the other hand,the development and innovation of Chinese aesthetics and philosophy theoretical system also inevitably need looking for new sources from the folk art design,to gain momentum for further progression.So as to achieve the win-win purpose of enriching discipline theory system and the protection,inheritance and development of traditional folk art design.In this article,the research context is divided into three major parts:In part one,first it combed the developing locus of artistic anthropology,summing up the core idea.Further discussed the localization research approach of artistic anthropology,finally extended presented the contemporary value of the research in our country,and summarized that the artistic anthropology were taking research in traditional folk art from three aspects of nationality,folklore and art design research connotation.In part two,which studied the modeling features of Makou ceramic respectively from nationality,folklore and regionalism,the nationality was discussed in the influence on Makou kiln from traditional ceramic culture,regional and religious culture of Hubei province;About folklore it discussed the functions,decorations,and material properties of Makou ceramic,respectively from the life style of people in Hubei,aesthetic tendency,and geographical feature;Finally it discussed the connotation of art design on the aesthetic aspect.In the third section,the article discussed on the efforts of protection and inheritance of the Makou kiln from different research fields,put forward the suggestions aiming at the problems currently.Finally on the art design level,it presented conceives and methods of re-design to the inheritance.
