Alfred Schnittke is one of the best composers of the 20 th century in the former Soviet Union.He created a large number of outstanding works for string concertos throughout his life,and only one concerto for Viola.This work was created in 1985 and is the most prominent viola work in the 20 th century.The Viola Concerto played a tremendous role in promoting the development of the Viola Concerto in the 20 th century with its unconventional superior skills and innovative ideas.It has become one of the most important viola literatures of the 20 th century.This thesis consists of three chapters.In the first chapter,based on the left-handed technique of Schnittke's Viola Concerto,a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the various components and characteristics of Schnittke's Viola Concerto from the angle of performance technology research;Focusing on right-hand skills,focusing on case studies,one will address the technical difficulties faced by the right hand;the third chapter will explain the specific perspectives of sight,hearing,and the body,and further understand this outstanding work.It is hoped that through these three chapters,a detailed analysis of performance techniques from different angles will fill some gaps in the research of the works in China,especially performance interpretation and technical analysis.
