A Study Of Syntactic Generative Mechanism And Semantics Of “v De Yishou Hao N”

In modern Chinese,there is a special kind of “V de yishou hao N” constitution.Based on the theory of Generative Grammar and Semantics,this paper analyzes the syntactic formation mechanism and the syntactic properties and semantics of each component.The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.The research status and existing problems of “V de yishou hao N” are reviewed,and the research ideas and methods of this paper are introduced.The second chapter,“V de yishou hao N” syntactic generation.“V de yishou hao N” is a syntax-semantics mismatch sentence,“yi shou” and “hao” are double pseudo attributives.It is transferred from the central verb to the light verb location and merged with DO by the verb DO of “ta DO de yishou hao N”.When N is the result object,“V de yishou hao N” is ambiguous,which can be understood either as singlepseudo-attributive constitution There are many differences between the syntactic relationship of double-pseudo-attributive constitution “V de yishou hao N” and real-pseudo-attributive constitution “xue de yishou hao wuyi”.The third chapter is the syntactic analysis of the components of “V de yishou hao N”.V-N is a verb-object phrase or a separable word;V is mainly a monosyllabic verb,with a small number of double syllable verbs,and V is a two-argument transitive verb.There is no overlapping form.It can not be attached to “le”,“zhe” and “guo”;all are action verbs;N can not be a time noun,azimuth noun or proper noun.The syntactic nature of “hao” is a commendatory adjective,a pseudo attribution,and modify V-N;“(yi)shou” is a state quantifier,a pseudo attribution,and modify “(hao)V-N”.“V-de”is an inflected verb,“-de”is a suffix,dependent on V,said the syntactic category of modality.The fourth chapter is the semantic interpretation of the components of “V de yishou hao N”.V-N said a skill that has semantic features such as [+concreteness],[+controllability],[+habitual],[+skill] and [+justifiable],V can be divided into simple hand and hand with other organs,and abstract by hand,and hand four unrelated verbs,N is mostly the subject,result,or tool objectof V V,the patient or the tool object.The role of “hao” is to evaluate the skill V-N as a kind of activity.“yishou” has the dual functions of individualized skillfulness as a kind of state and display tools.“-de”belongs to the subjective ability of the dynamic modality [ability].“V de yishou hao N” is a kind of unrealistic sentence,although it has the possibility of realization,but it has not become a reality.It can co-exist with the past and present time(not the future),but can not co-exist with the time nouns or time adverbs,which are very close to the past.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.Summarize the main views of the full text,point out the shortage of the article and the direction of the next step.
