The Application Of Sidelight In Vermeer's Oil Painting And The Enlightenment To Me

A successful art work is not weaken feeling,but by every possible means to enhance the feeling.If possible,or extend the feeling is much better.The use of light is one of the important means to enhance your feeling.The use of light,whatever indirect or direct correlation,makes the art of painting more attractive.For many painters,the light using has become an important means of visual expression of subjective emotion and organization.Through characteristics of the sidelight using in Vermeer paintings,this article analyzed the relationship between painting's light with theme,the composition,shape and color.Furthermore,to analyze the adjustment of light to structure of picture space,and the performance of rich texture object to highlight the artistic features of the main image.During the period of master graduate learning,the author further study of the application of light in the picture.Through analysis the relationship between light and painting and the characteristics of sidelight using in Vermeer paintings,as well as its influence on the graduation creation,to the understanding and cognition of the art of painting.
