| Calypso software,one of Carle Zeiss' s main products,has been playing an important role in industrial measurement plan based on CAD technology.Calypso has made innovations in the field of industrial measurement technology,rendering unparalleled convenience to operators and customers.Therefore,the translation of this project is of great significance for translation research and practice.The Calypso software operating instructions in this thesis refers to the instruction manual.It is obvious that its content will be updated with the development of new generation technology while the basic framework is similar.With article length of about twenty thousand words,this manual is well taken as a case study material.This thesis has analyzed the strategies and methods adopted in the process of translation practice from the perspective of text characteristics,syntax,vocabulary and cultural differences between Chinese and English. |
