Flipped classroom is a new teaching mode that came into being with the support of modern information technology.In traditional classrooms,teaching activities are centered on teachers.Knowledge is transmitted from teachers to students in the classroom.Students absorb and digest knowledge independently after the class.In the flipped classroom,students become the principal part of teaching activities.The transfer of knowledge is completed by students before class,and the classroom teaching becomes the link of knowledge internalization.This new teaching model makes up for the shortcomings of the traditional model and provides new opportunities and directions for the reform of English teaching.This paper takes the flipped classroom based on the micro-lecture in the "Basic English" course of S University as an example,and discusses the validity of flipped classroom teaching based on micro-lecture using the literature method,questionnaire survey method,observation method,and interview survey method.The paper elaborated the connotation of micro-lecture,flipped classroom,and effective teaching,summed up and analyzed the research status of flipping classroom and effective teaching at home and abroad,investigated and analyzed the academic education of "Basic English" at S University,and designed an effective teaching evaluation system for flipped classroom.This paper analyzes the design of flipped classroom teaching based on micro-lecture in "Basic English" of S University,examines the teaching of the two classes under the traditional teaching model and the flipped classroom teaching model,and evaluates and analyzes the"Basic English" flipping classroom based on micro-lecture.The study found that: 1.Students are tired or even disgusted with the traditional classroom teaching model,and accept and affirm the flipped classroom teaching mode;With video as the carrier,the micro-lecture focuses on a complete and difficult knowledge;2.The content of micro-lecture is short and concise,which can be watched repeatedly by students before class,which conforms to the fragmented learning of the network era;3.The flipped classroom teaching mode of basic English can help students to improve their learning enthusiasm and interest,promote the interaction and exchange of classroom teaching,and improve the teaching effect of the course;It can help to promote students' independent learning ability and personalized learning;4.In the flipped classroom teaching mode,the teaching effect,teaching efficiency and teaching efficiency of basic English course are higher than the traditional teaching mode;5.The effective teaching strategy of flipped classroom based on micro-lecture is: effective teaching preparation strategies,effective teaching implementation strategies,effective teaching evaluation strategies and effective teaching reflection strategies.Through this study,it can be seen that the flipped classroom of basic English has thefeasibility and effectiveness to achieve effective teaching;Compared with the traditional classroom teaching mode,the flipped classroom teaching model based on micro-lecture has more advantages in promoting students' learning enthusiasm and learning autonomy.The effective teaching strategy will improve the effective teaching of basic English flipped classroom based on micro-lecture.
